I was born and raised in the college town of Newark, Delaware and hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. The first art show I participated in was over 20 years ago and included a series of miniature floral and animal paintings.  I sold all ten paintings, was commissioned for ten more, and have been painting customized watercolors ever since.

​I’m an outdoor enthusiast who loves downhill skiing, hiking, and horseback riding, so chose to live in some of the most beautiful areas in the US: the quaint New England town of Stowe, VT, a rural horse farm in Chesapeake City, MD, and near Jackson Hole beneath the majestic mountains of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.  I currently live in Tucson, AZ where I enjoy the beauty and solitude of the arid desert, including Saguaro, and other Southwestern National Parks. My experience living among these beautiful settings continue to give me a great source of inspiration for original fine art watercolors of various landscapes, florals, portraits, and animals.
